Lighten Up! Injecting Humour into Maths Teaching

I wrote an article for The Society for Education and Training (SET) magazine in Tuition about how to include more humour into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) communication and teaching. The article builds on some of the ideas mentioned in the Finding Ada panel discussion I was involved in earlier this year, titled ‘Comedy and Communication’ for International Women’s Day.

Here is my article ‘Lighten Up! Injecting Humour into Maths Teaching’

The Society for Education and Training (SET) are dedicated to improving the careers of their members and raising the standard and reputation of post-14 education teaching and training. Their mission is to champion the quality and professionalism of teaching and training across post-14 education, and encourage those within the sector to become members of SET to help them be the best they can be.
