Rethinking Maths for Black History Month & Beyond with Pearson

For Black History Month I had the pleasure of collaborating on an article with Pearson about how we can improve diversity in maths education and STEM (science, technology, engineering & maths) industries. It was great to share ideas and think about possible solutions.

Here is the post: https://www.pearson.com/uk/educators/schools/news/schools-blog/2021/10/rethinking-maths-for-black-history-month-and-beyond–with-susan-.html

Also, here is the Pearson Right Angle podcast interview I did with the lovely host Nicola Woodford-Smith earlier this year. We had such a great chat about how we can make maths education more inclusive by tackling maths anxiety. I also ask the question, is the maths GCSE qualification fit for purpose?

As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions about these discussions.
