About

Susan Okereke is a maths teacher and communicator, who passionately believes that numeracy is an essential basic skill (like reading and writing) that everyone should be confident at. She challenges negative views of maths by creating and delivering maths content in a way that is accessible, memorable and confidence building.

As well as co-hosting the Maths Appeal Podcast with Bobby Seagull, Susan teaches maths in a London secondary school and is an accredited NCETM Professional Development Lead and is an accredited NCETM School Development Lead. She has written for a variety of education publications and regularly presents at maths events for students, teachers and the general public.

Susan loves maths and wants to help more people enjoy it and get good at it!
