National Numeracy Day 2025 was on the 21st May and this year’s theme was money and improving our money management. As part of the campaign my Maths Appeal podcast co-host, Bobby Seagull and I put together a ‘Maths and Money’ lesson to be part of the National Numeracy Day Toolkit for Schools.
The toolkit for schools offers a fantastic selection of activities for Early Years, Primary and Secondary school level students. Our Maths Appeal Lesson is designed for secondary Key Stage 3 level and includes Powerpoint Slides, a Lesson plan for teachers and introductory video.
