When I was asked this question by the BBC, I thought no!… But then I sat down, committed to the first puzzle, relaxed, gave it some time and with a bit of mental struggle, it came to me… and it felt great!!

The year’s GCHQ Challenge features a series of seven puzzles of varying difficulty and tests different problem-solving skills. The puzzles are masterminded by a team of puzzling experts who work at GCHQ. The team encourages people to work as a team to reveal the final hidden message.
I’ve shared the GCHQ challenge with some of my students and it was wonderful to watch them solve the puzzles together.
